Mission Statement

It is my mission to educate the public about the dangers of guns left accessible to kids. I intend to spread the word about how serious injuries and deaths can be prevented. Since the death of our son I have been on a mission to spread the message to people of all walks of life. Through public speaking engagements, television appearances, radio interviews and many other venues, I believe that the topic of gun safety can and will be a subject that people will talk about. In a non-political way, I feel that I can bring this subject to the forefront of conversations concerning the safety of our kids.

Through the telling of my story and the showing of my video, "Remembering Brian", it is my hope that people will hear my message and take action. For the gun owners, my message to them is be "responsible" gun owners. To parents, my message to them is to begin talking with their neighbors, family, friends and/or any person who will be caring for their children. Find out if there is a gun where your kids will be and if so, "How is it stored?"

Our kids are our future and I am making it my mission to spread this important message. My hope is that no other family has to endure the pain that comes from losing a child at the hand of another child who gained access to a loaded and unlocked handgun.
